Eastlake Drilling is a borehole drilling company. We have many years of experience in drilling and bring highly trained staff and quality machinery to your property. We are situated in Johannesburg. Our main aim is to provide both domestic and commercial customers with a professional service. We offer the customer a one-stop-shop from drilling to pump installation to water purification. Our equipment is unique in that we can access smaller areas and reduce damage to the property (paving, gate rails etc). The safety of our team and clients is of paramount importance when we are drilling. Eastlake Drilling has the requisite safety protocols in place and complies on all levels with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations.

Borehole Drilling

A borehole is drilled for the extraction of water. The process relies on high-pressure air and a hammer. The high-pressure air makes it possible to drill into hard rock or whatever other strata or formation is presented. Water Purification

Water purification is a process by which undesired chemical compounds, organic and inorganic materials, and biological contaminants are removed from water. Water filtration works in one of two ways – physical filtration and chemical filtration. With physical filtration, water is strained, often through a gauze-like membrane, to remove larger particles. With chemical filtration, water is treated with patented smart technology to remove impurities.

Water Storage

Water is pumped into the tank from the water source (the borehole). The tank (JoJo, Roto or the like) accumulates water until it is full. Once full, the float switch will stop the water being pumped from the ground. The purified water in the tank is then distributed to the house (via the filtration system), while the unpurified water is distributed to the garden.
